MIPOL2020 in a nutshell

  • The opening ceremony has been scheduled for July 15th,  at 9:30 AM.
    The closing ceremony has been scheduled for July 17th, at around 04:30 PM
  • The official congress language is English.
  • The congress program will consist of keynotes and invited lectures, short oral communications and poster presentations.
  • Keynote lectures lasting 40 min will open sessions.
  • Invited lectures lasting 20 min will follow keynotes.
  • All Presentations will include a few minutes of discussion.

  • The poster session will start on Wednesday 15th at 04:30 PM and will be carried out using the using Microsoft TEAMS. Attendees will receive in advance an e-mail invitation to join the team. At the time scheduled they will be able to enter the meeting.
  • Poster presented by Young Scientists, that is, PhD students and post-doc fellows are eligible to participate in the Poster Award competition.
  • Three 250 € prizes will be assigned to poster presentations characterized by excellence in research, clarity in presentation, and personal knowledge in a discussion with the Award Committee whose names will be disclosed. The related announcement and the bestowal of the poster awards will take place in front of all congress attendees at the end of the event.
  • The congress content will be disseminated through the use of social media, in particular Facebook (Virtual Mipol2020) and ResearchGate platforms.
